I am so confused by some of the things that are talked about in the media. As to how they are issues. Things that have, for some reason, become popular topics. Why are deflated footballs lengthy discussions? Why is Bruce Jenner becoming REALLY feminine something important? Why is it 2015, with a black president & female politicians, and feminism and racism are such controversial subjects for America?

It’s not as if everyone is just focsuing on other countries struggles to overcome these subjects. No. It’s America’s fight with oppression. Where the poorest person here is still richer than 80% of the world’s population and has thousands more opportunities available to them. We are all so privileged to have our butts born in the nation. Why are so many on Twitter and Facebook complaining about persecution & sharing articles about racial injustice? Why do people enjoying being angry and starting stuff?

Women can vote, work, be single moms, read, write, go to school, & kick butt at any job…WHAT ELSE DOES EVERY WOMEN STILL WANT? Superpowers? Lightsabers?

I have been told I’m ignorant sometimes. Maybe I am. Maybe I’m too uneducated. Maybe when I hear about a white police officer shooting someone, I don’t think he must have been black. I think “Man, he must have been acting like a jerk and causing crap.” Maybe I’m a 21 year old woman who thinks this is the best time to be alive and wishes everyone would be grateful for how much has been accomplished in history. Not pondering, blogging, tweeting, complaining, & talking about how much unfairness there is still to overcome.

I’m not implying that there isn’t injustice in America. I’m not overlooking the sex trafficking, crimes, burtality, and wrong that is done within these borders. That’s not what I’m talking about. It is a problem, in many other countries. Where men and women, of many different cultures, are still slaves and property. Not America. We are considered the freest and one of the greatest nations on earth. Why aren’t we doing more to help those other nations be at the same level of acceptance and equality we have achieved already? Instead of arguing that we deserve better treatment from our neighbor who just so happens to be of a different skin color or sex.

But then again, maybe I love everyone and just wish we lived in a Disney movie. That would be nice. I’m tired of meanness.

Galatians 3:28
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
